The project included the construction of two combined-cycle power units with an electric capacity of 180 MW and thermal capacity of 135 Gcal/h each. New power units began to deliver power to the energy market in March 2011 (power unit No. 1) and in January 2012 (power unit No. 2).
EMK-Engineering Company OJSC, which is part of Energostroyinvest Holding OJSC, was the General Construction Contractor.
Trest SZEM CJSC, under a contract with EMK-Engineering Company OJSC, as part of the construction of the 2nd PGU-180 power unit, installed the T-50/64-7.4/0.12 steam turbine with the T3FP-63-2MU3 generator manufactured by OJSC "Power machines" and two V64.3A gas turbine units with a capacity of 68 MW each manufactured by Ansaldo Energia.
