Trest SZEM CJSC acted as a General Contractor for the construction of PGU-410T in the city of Salavat (Republic of Bashkortostan) under a contract with Salavatneftekhimremstroy OJSC acting in the interests of Novo-Salavatskaya Combined-Cycle Plant owned by Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat OJSC (50%) and Leader CJSC (50%).
The new combined-cycle plant of the power plant was constructed according to the scheme of a combined-cycle gas turbine unit with one gas turbine, a three-pressure waste-heat boiler, and one steam turbine with heat-controlled steam extraction (layout: 1 GT + 1 WHB + 1 ST). Main equipment of power units: a gas turbine unit SGT5-4000F with a capacity of 290 MW manufactured by Siemens (Germany), a waste-heat boiler Ep-270/316/46-12.5/3.06/0.46-560/560/237 with three pressure circuits and reheating by EMAlliance JSC, cogeneration steam turbine of SST5-5000 type with a capacity of 130 MW by Siemens (Germany).
The scope of work performed by Trest SZEM CJSC under a general contract concluded in October 2012 included: Construction works, heat installation works, electrical installation work, installation of Automatic Process Control System and instrumentation, commissioning.
The bulk of the work at the site was carried out by enterprises that are part of Trest SZEM CJSC group of companies: the general construction works are performed by Kontur CC LLC, the waste-heat boiler is installed by Komienergomontazh CJSC, the gas turbine is installed by SZEM Petersburg General Contracting Department CJSC, and the steam turbine plant is installed by Sevzapenergomontazh Heat and Installation Department LLC. Significant amounts of work was carried out by partner companies: Electrocentromontazh JSC performed electrical installation work, installation of Automated Process Control Systems and instrumentation, Kamensk-Stalskonstruktsiya OJSC mounted building metal structures, and Production Association Uralenergomontazh CJSC mounted station pipelines.
The construction project of a combined cycle plant with an installed capacity of 410 MW (electric capacity is 410 MW, thermal capacity is 207.3 Gcal/hour) and a cost about 16.5 billion rubles is carried out on the terms of project financing and on the basis of the existing infrastructure of Novo-Salavatskaya CHPP, which currently is the largest Combined Heat and Power Plant in Bashkortostan (installed capacity is 570 MW).
The implementation of this project made it possible to increase the efficiency of heat and power generation at Novo-Salavatskaya CHPP, allowed to meet the energy needs of the petrochemical plants of Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat OJSC taking into account the construction and commissioning of new production facilities, and eliminated energy shortages in the region.
